B.A in Tourism Hospitality of STP AMPTA Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Sondang is well known to be friendly and cheerful. She has heart for people and social works. She has a lot of friends all over the world and she understands cultural contexts really well. She was born and growing up in South Sumatra and by the time she was 22, she left her hometown and started her career working in outdoor/ experiential education internationally and moved to an island next to Singapore border. She worked with students from different International schools around South East Asia and Universities from the United States for cultural trips or social projects. She knows when to work hard and be firm, and when to have fun and laugh. She believe education is important and one should continue learning throughout life. Therefore, when she was 26 she moved her life to Java and continued her bachelor degree in Tourism.

Her expertise in sustainable tourism and arranging trips or programs come hand in hand as she is continuing her works in experiential education. Now mainly based based between Bangkok and her hometown, managing and leading trips all around South East Asia from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and China. When she is home she will teach the kids in the orphanages nearby her home. She believes that the privilege of education and travel she has, is not only for herself, but to be shared. She wants to bring the world to the kids and give them a bigger dream to dream. Because for her, a good leader is the one who creates a leader.
