Rasheika Robinson

Madagascar instructor

The first time Rasheika traveled out of the United States was in 2013 when she decided to join the Peace Corps. With no idea of what the outside world would be like, she uprooted her life and made a commitment to live in rural Madagascar for 2 years. She loved the country so much that she stayed even after her service was complete to continue working in youth development.

Rasheika served as a community health advisor in Peace Corps after obtaining her B.A in Psychology and History. She has dedicated the last 4 years to inspiring, uplifting and motivating young Malagasy girls to set tangible life goals and action plans to reduce negative outcomes through the non-profit organization that she started, “Tovovavy Mendrika”.

Although she is new to Dragons, she has an extensive knowledge of Madagascar and looks forward to sharing her love of the country to the Dragon students.

Rasheika enjoys traveling and engaging in cross cultural activities. She also loves reading books, listening to music, and traditional Malagasy dances.
