Nistha Sinnya

Nepal Instructor

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies

Nistha was born and raised in Lalitpur, one of the most architectural places in Nepal. She belongs to the Ethnic Newari community and since she grew up in a beautiful and astonishing city with many temples and stupas, Newari (Nepali) culture has always been deeply rooted in her. Nistha has always been spiritual and believes there is a divine power that brings us all together.

Deeply rooted in her culture, tradition, norms, and values, Nistha has always celebrated big festivals like Dishain, Tihara, and Indra Jatra with her family as well as with many Dragons instructors (her family has hosted Dragons instructors for several decades). Her family’s top priority has always been helping others, and Nistha grew up seeing her family helping out orphans and the elderly. These experiences shaped her perspective from a young age.

Nistha has always loved traveling and has traveled to many different parts of Nepal and India, although there are many places still to be explored. Traveling has challenged her to look at a different dimension of life and also taught her to connect with people around the world, being able to listen to and be inspired by their stories, as well as sharing her own story. She is continually learning to embrace life around her.

Nistha has also been a part of renowned fashion industries in Nepal and internationally. She has been involved in music videos, fashion shows, and international film (Looking for Lady With Fangs and Moustache).

In her leisure time, she loves to cook, bake, make art, and travel.
