Josh first traveled to Thailand in 1999 to teach English language and literature at Payap University in Chiang Mai and immediately fell in love with the country. While living in Chiang Mai, he actively engaged in the study of Thai language and culture. Josh can speak, read, and write Thai. Josh has traveled extensively in Cambodia and Laos, as well.
Josh now owns and operates Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures, a rock climbing school that aims to build a local community of Thai climbers by providing opportunities for outdoor education.
