Carolina was born and raised in the Colombian Andes. She started her life as a traveler when she was 16 and went to live in England. During university she spent several summers in the USA as a camp counselor. From that moment her love for experiential education through nature and traveling started sparking a new way of life and professional development. She has over 15 years of experience working in the USA, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, South East Asia, and Australia where she has managed and led programs for teens and young adults with a focus on character education, service, ecology, and cultural exchange. She has a huge passion for personal development through meaningful experiences in remote areas and natural settings. She also works as an education consultant for a Special Needs Non-Profit where she designs programs and supports their effort for funding and family services, a job that allows her to give back to her own community.

When she’s not traveling, you can find her in San Gil, Colombia at her art studio painting or designing jewelry, two of her many creative expressions. She has a 9-year-old special needs son who is the light of her life and who is her greatest motivation to create a world that embraces diversity and sees others and nature with kindness and love. She is a very passionate and happy person who loves dancing and laughter.
