Arli Moyao-Ramirez

Hey guys! How’s it going? My name is Arli and I’m from the South Bronx, NYC. I’m 16 years old and currently a junior at the White Mountain School, in New Hampshire. From living in NYC my whole life and then living in NH for two years, I learned a lot about these two different lifestyles. Soon after, I tried out so many things that I would have never done if it weren’t for getting out of my comfort zone. This ultimately led me to discover Dragons and going to Senegal for a month. I’m very thankful for having the opportunity to go to Senegal and see life from a new perspective. Being in such a welcoming community made it easier to not be afraid of doing something wrong . I connected and created long-lasting friends while also figuring out how to become more independent and adaptable. It was an unforgettable experience and the best part was, I got to do experience it with amazing people right beside me. I’m very passionate about serving my own community and giving back to others. I love learning new languages and trying out different things.
