Guillermo Harmsen is a bilingual educator and interpreter with a multidisciplinary background in communication, psychology, and human development. Born in Santiago de Chile and based in Peru, he has led educational and cultural immersion programs in Peru, Bolivia, and Costa Rica, guiding students through complex social landscapes and natural environments with curiosity, insight, and care.

His professional experience spans education, journalism, consulting, and entrepreneurship. He has taught in schools and institutes, developed workshops on emotional intelligence and leadership, worked in television, and managed a restaurant in the Sacred Valley. In each of these roles, Guillermo brings a strong internal drive, a deep respect for people and place, and the ability to adapt and lead with integrity.

Currently living in Arequipa, he works as a specialized medical interpreter while developing a sustainable tourism initiative rooted in authentic exchange and community values. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and currently learning German.

Guillermo is known for his commitment, sense of humor, and grounded approach to meaningful learning. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and two sons, reading, hiking, and working with clay, finding in ceramics a space for patience, creativity, and presence.
